Katie was born in Augusta, GA and grew up outside of Thomson, GA. Katie graduated high school from Briarwood Academy. She then graduated from Augusta University with a Bachelors in Accounting. She was a collegiate softball player and attributes her success on and off the field with her strong Faith. Katie has been licensed since November 2014 and focuses on both new construction as well as resales while keeping her main focus on her clients. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her husband (Seth Newsome), her dog (Albert), family and friends, cheering on the GA Bulldogs and also golfing. Katie is a member of Macedonia Methodist Church.
